Policy

Shipping

  • Most orders will ship within 1-6 business days.
  • 8.75% Sales tax will be added to all shipments delivered to a California address. Orders shipped to any other state will not include sales tax.
  • All orders are shipped via UPS. A tracking number will be sent to the email address provided by the customer when the order is shipped. Please Note: UPS does NOT deliver to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses.
  • If the order is made with a credit card, the order will ONLY be shipped to the credit card billing address. No exceptions.

Returns

Return Process

Fine Line Imports offers a 20-day return policy for selected items based on manufacturer return policies. All non-defective returns are subject to a restocking fee of 25% of the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. All returned items must be in original condition with all packaging materials, including instructions and manuals, accompanied by sales invoice. Fine Line Imports reserves the right to refuse returns on any product that fails to conform to these requirements.

Fine Line Imports accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We strongly suggest sending return packages with insurance and proof of delivery, or using a carrier that can provide a tracking number to protect customer interests in the shipment.

Return Exceptions

  • All special order and custom items cannot be exchanged or returned to Fine Line Imports under any circumstances, unless damaged.
  • Certain sale and clearance items will not be eligible for exchanges or returns, this will made clear in the description of these items.
  • Engines, transmissions and other large items may require special handling, UPS will not take them. Please call our office for details.

Refused Shipments

If the customer refuses a shipment Fine Line Imports will impose a restocking fee of 25% of the original purchase price plus any applicable shipping and handling charges. If the merchandise returned is not in identical condition as originally shipped, i.e. unopened and with complete packaging materials intact, additional charges will apply.

Order Cancellations

  • If for any reason you decide to cancel an order please contact a Fine Line Imports representative immediately at 707.525.1536.
  • If your order has not been shipped, we can usually allow the cancellation without any additional charges. PLEASE NOTE: This does not apply to custom or special order items. Those cannot be cancelled without a penalty.
  • If your order has already been shipped it may not be eligible for cancellation. If the cancellation request is received after an item has shipped Fine Line Imports will gladly accept a return consistent with our non-defective return policy. However, no refunds are available for shipping and handling fees and customer bears sole responsibility for all return shipping costs. PLEASE NOTE: Fine Line Imports reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 25% of the original purchase price for all order cancellations received after an item has shipped.

Refunds

A refund or credit to the customers credit card will be issued by Fine Line Imports only after a product is received, inspected, and processed. Please note: After Fine Line Imports issues a credit, your credit card company controls when the credit will appear on your statement. Please contact your credit card company for more details.
