At Fine Line Imports, we’re focused on doing the most we can to be a clean company in what can be a pretty dirty industry. Over the years, we’ve taken steps toward becoming a greener business so we can reduce our carbon footprint and do our part to help the planet. One of the latest steps we’re taking is working with Evolve Lubricants, Inc., previously PTH Oils. The company has been working on a patented formula for years and is the very first oil company to bring a non-carbon footprint oil to the market as of August 2021.

We’re looking forward to introducing this sustainable lubricant offering to our operations.

About the product

The work on the product dates back to 2012, when the people behind Evolve Lubricants began developing and distributing high-performing motor oils with PTH Racing Oil. The oil at the time used a petroleum base, but had a performance that vastly exceeded other oils on the market. The lubricants were used in prestigious sport and racing cars, which helped increase their horsepower and cut down on the wear and tear in the engines.

With these early successes, the team continued to test and develop other products that could produce more sustainable power. This year, Evolve Lubricants was established to create high-quality lubricants with non-petroleum bases.

The company is committed to the use of advanced technology and scientific research to ensure high-performance lubricant solutions are available on the market and to create a positive impact on the environment. The company’s belief is that because there are now lubricant solutions that are sustainable and meet/exceed current performance standards of petroleum-based products, it is its responsibility as a company to push those products and encourage others to incorporate them whenever possible to ensure a broad impact.

The hope is that the work being performed by Evolve Lubricants will turn into a major force on the market that spurs more companies to turn to sustainable solutions, especially given the current environmental concerns surrounding climate change and pollution.

The products Evolve Lubricants has developed are not just limited to engine oil, either. The company’s transmission fluid outperforms petroleum-based formulas in extreme pressure situations and provides outstanding chemical and mechanical stability in fill-for-life applications. The company also makes fluids for industrial settings, including hydraulic fluids, gear lubricants, compressor oil, grease, transformer oil and heat transfer fluids.
