Cosworth has been engineering camshafts for nearly 50 years. That coupled with years of innovative multi valve cylinder head design ensures their camshaft designs are the most efficient in providing maximum usable power across the widest power band. Each cam is ground from a new chill cast billet and finished using the same procedures Cosworth used in extreme level race engines. Cosworth camshafts are the perfect compliment to Cobbs CNC Ported Big Valve Cylinder heads. Cosworths Subaru EJ25 cams are profiled to increase boost response thereby increasing engine torque and power and are fully compatible with Subaru AVCS applications
Valve Springs and Retainers
Valve springs are one of the most stressed components within the engine. The springs can cycle thousands of times per hour. When high performance camshafts, with their longer duration and higher lift, are installed the stress can be increased even further. Cosworth valve springs are designed to control the valve under these demanding conditions and are wound from high quality steel with chamfered ends to reduce wear on valve train components. Designed to be used with original retainers with no machining required. These are the perfect compliment to our range of high performance camshafts with increased seat pressure ensuring maximum performance and durability.
