FLI is now proud to offer our own Stage 3 ported cylinder head based on a long proven port design. Validated through countless hours on flow benches, both virtual and real-world, and proven on race projects including Pro Rally and Touring cars. Finally, after nearly 2 years of development, refinement and testing FLI is proud to say our Stage 2 or 3 ported heads are superior to all cylinder heads currently available surpassing even our own prior offerings.
The difference between FLI Stage 2 and Stage 3 cylinder heads are the valves used. For Stage 3 we use valves 1mm larger than stock.
For those on a budget, we also offer this cylinder package at a discounted price when you supply your own cylinder heads. Due to the necessity to work from the same heads you supply, the normal lead time is approximately 1-2 weeks. The lead time for this package when using new cylinder heads is normally 2-3 weeks. Please plan your build time accordingly.
Cylinder heads are shipped back fully assembled, blueprinted and ready for install. We can set valve lash if you supply your used camshafts starting at $150 for labor. Additional costs may be necessary when setting up valve lash in the event shims/shimless buckets need to be changed.
