MSI adjustable tubular cross members are designed for off road use only. They are manufactured from 4130 Chrome-Moly seamless steel, fully tig welded and stress relieved to provide the most durable, reliable, and lightest component possible for competition use. These parts were created to correct geometry on lowered circuit racing cars. Since the initial design concept, MSI now offers two models. One that is for tarmac use only that provides almost a 2mm corrected drop (additional modifications may be needed for this depending on the installation used) and one that is for rally cars that offers the highest setting at the same position as an OEM part, and an additional setting for Tarmac Rally cars that offer a 1mm drop over stock.
One of the most important features of these components is the ability to change differentials, LH or RH sides independently in time pressing situations like 20 minute rally services. All parts are self aligning and do not allow any deflection in relation to the mounting points on the chassis that is common on original manufacturers components.
